Only people who are declared over-indebted will go under debt review:
Due to the new amendments of the National Credit Act (NCA) the consumer can now withdraw prior to sending the 17.2 form to the credit providers, but after the 17.2 form have been issued to relevant parties the consumer cannot withdraw but the Debt Counsellor can suspend the consumer. In the event where the debt review order have issued or granted, before the consumer wish to withdraw he/she need to rescind or remove the debt review order by way of court procedure.
Default listing – you have an obligation to pay your debt, once you skip month-on-month default will be in place due to non-payment on your account.
